Raj Bahl

Raj Bahl Mondetta

Executive Vice-President Sales, Mondetta Clothing Company

Rajeev (Raj) Bahl was born in Nairobi, Kenya. At a young age he left his native land with his family, first to London, England and later Toronto before settling in Winnipeg. His formative years were spent dedicated to family, sport and education.

Raj entered the University of Winnipeg under an entrance scholarship and this is where he met his eventual business partners to form Mondetta Clothing. Raj later completed his BA degree at the University of Manitoba with a major in Applied Economics.

Raj is the EVP SALES at Mondetta and is responsible for Mondetta’s strong value proposition that has been seeded over 30 years of efforts.   A large part of his business and personal philosophy is formed by the tenets and concepts of Karma: following principles of cause and effect. This means the company adheres to, insists upon and demands fair practices with both customers and suppliers. Personally this guides his belief that the actions one takes will yield the respective future consequences. To be able to practice this philosophy not only at home but also half way around the world is fitting given Mondetta was formed under the defining spirit of ” A Small World.”
